Life Long Swimming

On November 13th we had the visit from the Erasmus Plus Sport EACEA Monitoring Team.

Lifelong Swimming will be part of the Solidarity Event organised on Sunday, 27th December 2015 in Valladolid (ES) with an Over 60 Lifelong Swimming team that will take part in the 100x100 Solidarity Relay at the Municipal Pool Parquesol.

The Second Partnership Meeting in Madrid was hosted by the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation.

This meeting was focused on Project Work in Progress and on information presented at the Coordinators’ Meeting held in Bruxelles in July.

Following the change of legal address of our partner LEN (Liguèe Europeenne de Natation) from Luxemburg to Switzerland, we are happy to welcome the Aquatic Sports Association (ASA) of Malta in the LIFELONG SWIMMING Partnership!
LEN, which is the governing body of 53 European Aquatic Sports Federations, will remain in  the partnership and maintain its added value to the project dissemination.

LIFLONG SWIMMING took part in the EU WEEK OF SPORT with another OpenDay to spread awareness of the importance of health enhancing physical activity and the benefits of swimming,  an aerobic activity which can be safely enjoyed by people of all ages and one of the best exercises for seniors as it allows movement without bearing weight.

The first H2OpenDay 2015 was organised by the FIN Federal Centre on July 11th in Trieste in the swimming pool Bruno Bianchi which was open free for over 60s.
The H2OpenDay was coordinated by Franco Del Campo, director of the FIN Federal Centre and Ariella Cuk director of Leader Comunicazione.
