In April and May Lifelong Swimming was presented in two important Congresses in Portugal.
On April 24-25, 2016 prof. Luis Rama from the University of Coimbra, coordinator of the Portuguese team, presented the project at the XXIX Congress of Portuguese Swimming Coaches in the city of Setubal.
More than 600 participants attended the congress and Lifelong Swimming was presented during a special session.
On May Lifelong Swimming was presented at the 3rd IPLeiria International Health Congress, organized by the Health Research Unit of the IPLeiria School of Health Sciences and took place in Leiria, Portugal, May 6 and 7, 2016.
The program of the 3rd IPLeiria International Health Congress was devoted to the main theme of “Health, demographic changes & well-being” and included plenary sessions, original short communications, along with round tables composed by invited speakers of recognized merit with a total of more than 600 presentations. It aimed to act as a forum for scientific discussion of actual and emergent themes and will benefit from the participation of health professionals from several clinical areas.
Abstracts will be published on BMC Health Services Research in June.
